Unborn Hopper on Flickr. This ferry is, judging by the red trim and the sticky-taped-on-plastic, destined to become one of the new CityHopper free boats come this weekend.
You can tell, ‘cause it’s got red on.

Pleasure(?) Cruise on Flickr. The Spirit of Brisbane Citycat was pulled out of service today to play host to a bunch of media and Council types, including the Lord Mayor and the CEO, in commemoration of last year’s floods.
There were even a couple of token victims and members of the “mud army” - the volunteers that helped people clean up when the water went down so that the media had someone to annoy.
The river played its part by looking appropriately brown and muddy.
The boat, on the other hand, didn’t go under like so much of Brisbane did.
I guess that’s a good thing.
